Batman Adventures promo art done for McDonald’s

The art Ty did for Happy Meals boxes for a Batman Adventures promotion (remember the Penguin car?  The umbrella on the front end spun around when you pushed the car!).

All pages, 11″ x 17″, board,  pencilled and inked by Ty Templeton.

  1. These are so cool.
I remember them when I was younger.
I think I still have them somewhere.
I would so love to buy one of these some day.
Page one is the most awesome, imo!

  2. You know, I’ve never seen one of these in print. I live in Canada, and they were only released in the States, as far as I know.

  3. Thats very true, I think us in Canada finally got a small wave of these cars/figures around 98 when Batman and Robin got released on VHS. And I believe it was only the left overs of Batman, Robin’s bike, Batgirl, Riddler and Two-face’s car. I dont think Catwoman, Joker & Ivys cars were never released in Canada :(

    • The Catwoman, Joker and Ivy cars had to be released in Canada, as I have a complete set. I haunted McDonalds until such time as I got ‘em all. The actual package art was only released in the USA, but the toys themselves got up here.
