Here be the toon.
It’s probably best I didn’t do this strip during the holiday season…but speaking of reasons to celebrate, it’s Chas Addams 100th Birthday today, and I guess the monsters in that strip were in honour of the great man and his macabre sense of humour. I’ll leave it up to you to determine which one of those images truly represents a monster, but hint: It’s one of Franken and Davis.
Ty the Guy OUT!
And now your BONUS moment:
Of all the people mentioned above, who has the best comic book?
There’s no way Frankencastle ever had a comic book. He couldn’t be real.
———————————————————————————————-
Not just a comic book, Al Franken had his own decade!
What, no Frank N’ Further? 😦
@Pat: Yeah, and that “Al Franken Decade” routine is what split up Franken and Davis, so make of that what you will….
@James: Strongly considered him, but it didn’t fit the point or the rhythm.
Al Franken used to be one of my very favorite monsters. Then he enthusiastically cosponsored the Protect IP Act (that’s the Senate equivalent of SOPA) so as far as I’m concerned his decade is over.
I miss Frankenberry!
And Count Chokula. . . .
In a weird way actually, Al Franken reminds me of Count Chokula… Well, at least the Bluewater cover rendition does. I will have to tell him the next time I see him.
Cheers!
