This rabbit themed internet cartoon series is nominated for a JOE SHUSTER award this evening as webcomic of the year.
It’s not going to win. That’s a stone cold guarantee.
However, I have been informed of other plans.
I keep alternating between being very honoured and wondering if Canada is just so small a country that they’ve run out of actually deserving people to induct after ten years of doing this, and have moved down to the second tier.
Ty the Guy OUT!

It all started at a five thousand watt radio station in Fresno…where inexplicably they published the above comic book.

There is no acceptable way for any two people to compare mothers but *dammit* a Jack Kirby Mister Miracle…?!
Dear Ty!
Congratulations on this award and to all those who helped to get you there!
You deserve this!
Thanks for your art and wit and for sharing them with us weekly.
😄
You know, your family looks a lot like Matt Groening’s family.
Congratulations, Ty!!!
First of all, congratulations! Second, I don’t know if you remember but over a year ago I mentioned on a comment here that one of the first comics I read, a Superman translation in Spanish, contained your “Bizarro Lois of the future” pinup. You said you’d love to see it, since you never gave permission for that to be reprinted. Well, I found it!
It wasn’t on the issue I thought it was (Superman #5 by Spain’s Editorial Zinco, containing Byrne’s Man of Steel #6), but as it happens I wanted to re-read the whole series anyway for my chronological post-Crisis Superman blog. I was starting to think I’d imagined it since I’m near the end of the series by now, but I just opened #117 (of #123) and there it was!

(Sorry if this was a double or triple post but I’m having troubles with WordPress)
Wow, thanks for showing me that. There’s absolutely NO way they had the rights to reprint that, it originally appeared as a fan piece for Amazing Heroes and I was never paid for it.
