There’s a lesson here for all of us.

I’m at the FANeXpo convention in Toronto as you’re reading this, doing sketches and saying hi to the fans… come on down and say hello, we’d love to have you, if you can fight the crowds and the heat.  (Hydrate, people, for GOD’S sake, hydrate!)

My favourite part of this whole story is how quickly Karma came and got her.  She’s not allowed to raise money on GOFUNDME, she’s sitting in a federal jail, she’s clearly going to lose her job, and very few of the presidential candidates on the Republican side came to her defence.  Just the really silly ones, like Huckster-abee.

Whee.

As a kid, I used to collect any comics I could find, and that sometimes included Christian Comics…

the artwork was by professionals (like Marvel’s Al Hartley) and the story telling was not too bad.

and sometimes it got weird.

Again, whee.

Remember to vote, or the terrorists win.

We’ve heard it all….the economy, the dog-on-the-roof, the birth certificate and the bully haircut.  There’s so many important issues to help Americans decide the way to vote on Tuesday, but the most important issue is never discussed.

Oh, I suppose, health care and women’s rights matter, too, but it’s about priorities.

Go vote, and let me know how it goes on Tuesday…I’m Canadian, and we don’t report on the elections up here.  There’s hockey scores to talk about.

Debatable Bun Toons! YAY!

Whether or not it’s funny, that’s debatable.

It was the most watched debate for VP in history.  Or at least for the last four years (I didn’t look it up).  But my wife and I watched the whole thing and enjoyed it quite a bit….right up until the reviews came in and it was….

In Canada, the polling said that Biden won it 88 to 12.  But that’s Canada, where we have a free press and stuff like that.

On her show the next day, Rachel Maddow said “…right after the debate, the Democrats claimed Biden won, and the Republicans claimed Biden was disrespectful and mean to Paul Ryan.  One is a boast, the other is an excuse.   That tells you everything.”
