Hey folks!  It’s BATMAN DAY and I’m already up and out of the house, visiting the fine Bat-fans at One Million Comics in Toronto (531 Yonge St, just south of Wellesley), signing comics, doing sketches, annoying the fans, etc.

Since I haven’t the spare ten seconds to toon any buns before I leave this morning,  I leave you with a heaping helping of Bat-Toons from Bun Toons past….a TOP TEN Batman Bun Toon-a-palooza!

I’ve been watching the new GOTHAM television series since the first episode, and I’m a confirmed fan.  I’m hard to please with Batman filmed stuff, so if I’m on board, they’re doing something right.

There are those who are missing the point of the series, though….and after a half dozen episodes, I feel I’m enough of an expert that I can explain to one and all…

Haters gonna hate.

The rest of us are having a ball.

I am SO behind the deadline on my latest issue of Batman 66 that it would be immoral for me to devote any time to anything but drawing Batman today.  I love the Rabbit, but the Bat pays the bills.

So today, a few Batman themed Bun-Toons from yesteryear to bide the thronging legion of Bun Toons fans until I get a spare minute for this  year’s Christmas Bun Toon (coming soon!)

….of course, Batman can defeat any biblical creature, including Jesus.

….the one thing he cannot defeat is a second rate screenplay.

Gotham City Bun Toons YAY!

I’m Bunny-Man, punks.

It’s Thanksgiving weekend in the States, so statistically, no one is reading this. But I don’t Bun Toon for the readers, I do it for the man in my head who WON’T STOP YELLING AT ME!

Full confession:  This was a lovely idea Dan Slott suggested we try back while we were doing Batman Adventures together.  But since Dan and I are each doing a version of Spider-Man at the moment  (Dan writes Amazing, I do  Ulitimate  Adventures), it ain’t going to happen anywhere but here.  No one ever gets to hear about the Red Hood either, after what…almost ten years now?

So, ten years delayed gag from the Slott/ Templeton Batman Adventures Team.

Happy belated American Thanksgiving everyone.  Now, go buy Christmas gifts, you economic engines, you.
