Holy Batman Day, Old Chum! Bat-Toons! YAY!

Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-Bun Toons!

Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-Bun Toons!

Hey folks!  It’s BATMAN DAY and I’m already up and out of the house, visiting the fine Bat-fans at One Million Comics in Toronto (531 Yonge St, just south of Wellesley), signing comics, doing sketches, annoying the fans, etc.

Since I haven’t the spare ten seconds to toon any buns before I leave this morning,  I leave you with a heaping helping of Bat-Toons from Bun Toons past….a TOP TEN Batman Bun Toon-a-palooza!

Who says this isn’t the Bunny Age of Gotham City Satire?

This Elseworlds Toon was created before Brian Williams got into trouble, so ignore his recent history.

Batman won his battle.  The Spectre is still fighting Stephen Hawking.

Shout out to Dan Slott, who kind of wrote Batman at Noon…

I’ve just been informed that DC is turning the above Toon into a twelve issue mini-series.

Okay…that one might have been just for me.  How many of you have Pete Best albums?  Anyone?  I own TWO.

Still waiting for a TOS Star Trek meets Batman 66 miniseries.  I’m ready…

The cartoon is on youtube if you HAVE to see it.

There…now you don’t have to see that movie.  Except for the Catwoman bits.

But you SHOULD be watching Gotham.  It’s still a hoot.

Yeah, I know I reprint that one all the time….but this is a top ten.

See you at One Million Comics!

Ty the Guy OUT!

If you make it out to visit us at the store, here’s what I’ll be doing…

Cover sketches, baby!  Bring me a blank cover (and a little of that folding money) and I’ll muck up the cover with one my doodles on it.

Gotham City Bun Toons! YAY!

Right after this cheerful logo, things get dark and gritty…

I’ve been watching the new GOTHAM television series since the first episode, and I’m a confirmed fan.  I’m hard to please with Batman filmed stuff, so if I’m on board, they’re doing something right.

There are those who are missing the point of the series, though….and after a half dozen episodes, I feel I’m enough of an expert that I can explain to one and all…

Haters gonna hate.

The rest of us are having a ball.

Hey!  The fine folks at Marvel released my page from all-new, all-exciting Big Marvel Event SPIDER-VERSE a little early, so I can show it off here!  I got to draw one of the most ICONIC versions of Spidey in history!  click on the image to make it larger!

That’s right!  I got to KILL OFF THE TWINKIE-VERSE Spider-Man!  Talk about notching one in the career belt.

Holy Bat-Toons, Bunny-Man! YAY!

Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-BUN TOONS!

Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-BUN TOONS!

I am SO behind the deadline on my latest issue of Batman 66 that it would be immoral for me to devote any time to anything but drawing Batman today.  I love the Rabbit, but the Bat pays the bills.

So today, a few Batman themed Bun-Toons from yesteryear to bide the thronging legion of Bun Toons fans until I get a spare minute for this  year’s Christmas Bun Toon (coming soon!)

vs leviathan….of course, Batman can defeat any biblical creature, including Jesus.

dark knight rises….the one thing he cannot defeat is a second rate screenplay.

elseworlds i'll doBatman Elseworlds was the very FIRST Bun Toon up on this site.  It’s been downhill ever since.

From an idea by Dan Slott (name dropping bastard that I am).

Sorry to be a re-run today, folks.  There’s a moment where I’d be cheating on my editor if I didn’t spend my day fighting the deadline.

Ya see, Mr. Chadwick?  I can be responsible?

Ty the Guy OUT!

The Bonus:

I do kind of love my job.

Gotham City Bun Toons YAY!

I’m Bunny-Man, punks.

It’s Thanksgiving weekend in the States, so statistically, no one is reading this. But I don’t Bun Toon for the readers, I do it for the man in my head who WON’T STOP YELLING AT ME!

Full confession:  This was a lovely idea Dan Slott suggested we try back while we were doing Batman Adventures together.  But since Dan and I are each doing a version of Spider-Man at the moment  (Dan writes Amazing, I do  Ulitimate  Adventures), it ain’t going to happen anywhere but here.  No one ever gets to hear about the Red Hood either, after what…almost ten years now?

So, ten years delayed gag from the Slott/ Templeton Batman Adventures Team.

Happy belated American Thanksgiving everyone.  Now, go buy Christmas gifts, you economic engines, you.

Oh, and see you all at INDUSTRY NIGHT and the ONE DAY CONVENTION tomorrow.  SEE HERE for details.

Ty the Guy OUT!

Here now, your BONUS “Batman is frightened of the light” MOMENT.

Because this death trap has to be generating thirty or forty watts of pure power.
