I’ve been watching the new GOTHAM television series since the first episode, and I’m a confirmed fan.  I’m hard to please with Batman filmed stuff, so if I’m on board, they’re doing something right.

There are those who are missing the point of the series, though….and after a half dozen episodes, I feel I’m enough of an expert that I can explain to one and all…

Haters gonna hate.

The rest of us are having a ball.

TY THE GUY OUT!

Hey!  The fine folks at Marvel released my page from all-new, all-exciting Big Marvel Event SPIDER-VERSE a little early, so I can show it off here!  I got to draw one of the most ICONIC versions of Spidey in history!  click on the image to make it larger!

That’s right!  I got to KILL OFF THE TWINKIE-VERSE Spider-Man!  Talk about notching one in the career belt.

I am also enjoying Gotham — and you are absolutely correct in that one has to see it as a completely separate take on the history of Batman. (Fortunately, we’ve had lots of practice with that.) Also, the show’s just plain kinda nuts, which I like, especially Robin Lord Taylor’s performance as Penguin. It’s as much fun as a show about a completely corrupt city and a traumatized orphan can be! (By the way, you know that in three years the Twinkie-Verse Spider-Man will be brought back, explained as due to some weird combo of radioactive blood and food preservatives. Still, great work, as always!)

  2. Gotham is just stellar!
And I am loving the show created character of Fish Mooney, all the actors are doing a fine job with their characters, I just wish that Barbara had more to do than worry about Jim and pace about in their amazing flat.
I love seeing the Gotham that was the catalyst to create Batman, for it was not just Bruce’s parents getting killed it was the whole mess of Gotham that was the impetus, and the reason why the city means so much to him.
